รศรรสำฦต Cherokee Food Drive Nov. 1-30

Centre, Ala.—The faculty, staff and students of รศรรสำฦต Cherokee are partnering with the Cherokee County Rotary Club in sponsoring the annual Food Drive during the month of November to benefit Cherokee Family Care Center.  Food items needed include canned meats, instant potatoes, dry beans, peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, Ramen noodles, rice, canned vegetables, canned pumpkin, chili, soups and stew. รศรรสำฦต to host Career Exploration Lectures

Gadsden, Ala. — รศรรสำฦต is hosting two interactive career exploration lectures entitled “How Can I Do That?” to increase student awareness of various jobs and occupations in the area.  

Shane Golden will present on Applied Forensic Science on Nov. 2 with Dr. Alex Compton speaking on Dentistry on Nov. 3. The lectures will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Room 121 of the Science Building.  Students may also participate via Zoom at the Ayers Campus in Room 111A of the Cheaha Annex and in Room 114 at รศรรสำฦต Cherokee.

Spring Semester 2023 registration ongoing at รศรรสำฦต

Gadsden, Ala.—Registration at รศรรสำฦต for spring semester is ongoing through Jan. 13.  Classes begin Jan. 9 for the full spring semester and spring mini 1 term.   Classes begin March 3 for the spring mini 2 term.  Visit  and click on the link to “OneACCS” at the top of the page to begin the registration process. To be admitted, go to gadsdenstate.edu/apply.  For more information regarding admission or registration, email admissions@gadsdenstate.edu.


Student Transfer Scholarship Workshops at รศรรสำฦต

Gadsden, Ala.— รศรรสำฦต is hosting student success workshops entitled ”Where’s the Money?” from 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 8 at the Ayers Campus Learning Resource Center Auditorium and Nov. 9 in Allen Hall Room 126 on the Wallace Drive Campus. รศรรสำฦต Cherokee students may participate in the Nov. 8 workshop via Zoom in the campus library. The workshops will provide assistance to students planning to transfer to a four-year university.  The workshops are free and sponsored by the Advising and Retention Center and Student Support Services at รศรรสำฦต. ACT Prep Courses at รศรรสำฦต 

Gadsden, Ala. – รศรรสำฦต’s Continuing Education Program is offering ACT preparation courses covering four core subjects – English, reading, math and science.  Classes will meet at the Cardinal Tutoring Center located in Allen Hall on the Wallace Drive Campus. The session dates, times and course offerings are from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 29 for English and reading and Dec. 1 for math and science.

Students can register for the session(s) of their choice. Registration cost is $60 for each session. Registration is $99 for both weekday sessions.  Once a student registers, a confirmation email will be sent containing instructions and items needed for the class.
